Register/Renew Your Business at WASBEC

You'll need to register your business name with the province of Ontario, unless you're operating a sole proprietorship under your legal name.

Our self-help service workstation allows clients to register/renew a business name in Ontario with some guidance.  You will immediately receive a Master Business License. You can also do an enhanced business name search, and submit applications for Employer Heath Tax and Workplace Safety and Insurance Board accounts.

The Enhanced Business Name Search allows a client to search for a business name registered
with the Ontario Ministry of Government Services.  Searches can be done on exact business names,
words in a business name or by the Ontario Business Identification Number.

The IBSA Workstation is available at the Woodstock & Area Small Business Enterprise Centre
located at 453 Dundas Street in Woodstock between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday
though Friday.  Registration cost is $60, and name search is $8 by Credit Card Payment ONLY.
